| Abstract: | A quartz reef was located which contained good quality rose quartz. This quartz has a deeper colour than the one coming from Brazil, however marketing has been very slow due to the higher cost of extraction. Little response was recieved from marketing efforts in South East Asia and America. Some alluvial quartz was also extracted. |
