Abstract: | 191 RAB holes totalling 1283.5m were completed in order to test the 'C' soil horizon. This confirmed zones of anomalous geochemistry originally outlined by the BMR-Geopeko and closed them off. Acacia South was then further tested by 5 diamond drill holes totalling 2425.4m. This drilling intersected stringers of mineralisation consisting of subhedral aggregates of sphalerite and galena in dilatant dolomite veins. This zone of weak mineralisation has a strike length of approx 40m and is 30-40m wide. The best intersect was 5m at 0.64% Zn (including 1m at 2% Zn). |
