Title Holder / Company: | Pine Creek Goldfields |
Report id: | CR1992-0051 |

Author: | Fare, R |
Abstract: | 8 RC percussion drill holes were drilled to test the Copperfield Workings at depth with a maximum assay of 5.99% Cu. Malachite and azurite mineralization was recorded throughout much of each hole. Gold assays were disappointing with a best assay of 4m at 0.22g-t Au. Elevated silver is associated with high copper. Rock chip sampling of old workings on MCN59 returned assays to 7.4% Cu and 0.14g-t Au (Average). The work to date has illustrated that the Copperfield workings do not have the potential for a small tonnage high grade gold deposit. |
