Combined annual report on MLC 52 (Explorer 38 or Muscadel), MLCs 4, 5, 127 and 129 (East Peko)

Abstract

During the 1991/92 year of tenure North Flinders has undertaken a regional lithological and structural mapping exercise in the Tennant Creek area which included MLCs 4, 5, 127 and 129. Further reconnaissance mapping was also carried out prior to the formulation of an exploration programme for the next 12 months. As there is no outcrop within MLC 52 it has not benefited from these mapping programmes. Relevant Geopeko drill core from MLCs 52, 4 and 5 has been identified and logged to gain an appreciation of the style of mineralisation and lithologies hidden by surface sediments. Geopeko data has received a detailed review and has been transferred to the NFM computer database.
