Annual report for ERL 86, 19 September 1990 to 18 September 1991

Abstract

The report summarises work carried out to date on the licence by Geopeko in the year prior to the current anniversary period. North Flinders work in the year ending 18-09-1991 entailed reconnaissance of ERL 86, confirmation of Geopeko's results and reappraisal of the licence area. This work has shown that the lithology of the area is similar to that which hosts the lodes at the Gecko and Orlando Mines and that a series sub parallel shears (primarily Olive Wood and Havelock shears) traverse the licence. The primary target for further investigation is the Havelock lode-shear system.
