Abstract: An airborne EM survey of some 1704 line kms was undertaken in 1991. Most of the highly anomalous conductive zones were associated with Oenpelli Dolerite however some anomalies were not and bear following up. 15 anomalies were tested by 359 hole RAB programme totalling 7049m. The maximum assay was 105ppm U from hole 520 at 32.5m, in anomaly N84. 7 anomalies were tested in a deep drilling programme consisting of 26 holes totalling 2122m RC percussion and 2057 Diamond drilling. This programme found a new zone of primary uranium mineralisation in altered Oenpelli Dolerite at anomaly N84. Weak uranium mineralisation is associated with strong chloritic alteration in schist. At N147 primary uranium mineralisation was discovered in a strongly altered zone in schist below the Kombolgie Sandstone and Oenpelli Dolerite. Weak uranium mineralisation was found in altered dolerite of the Oenpelli Dolerite at anomaly N23. U40 has weak uranium mineralisation associated amphibolite. Drilling found weak mineralisation at U42, 650m NW of previously outlined mineralisation. No mineralisation was located at the S6 anomaly.
