| Abstract: | In the initial soil sampling programme of 245 samples, analysis showed a normal distribution with high mean background values. Examination of the soil profile shows the top 10-15cm is transported sheetwash beneath this layer the soil contains clearly residual rock fragments. Transport distance is not believed to be great. |
