| Abstract: | Two areas of geochemical anomalism previous outlined by a vacuum drilling programme were each tested by a percussion drilling programme. One area was about the Fassifern West Ironstone, which was shown to be anomalous when intersected in drilling (37ppb Au, 980ppm Bi) while the other was a strongly chloritic shear zone 560m north. Drilling showed the shear zone to 11m wide carrying low order Au, Bi, Cu anomalism in weathered material 25m below the surface. |
