Abstract: No information is available on work undertaken on these tenements prior to Territory Resources securing the tenements in 1985. Territory Resources undertook a programme of gridding, mapping, rock chip sampling and costeaning form 1985 to 1988 when the Spring Hill joint venture took responsibility for the tenements. The work undertaken by the joint venturers included gridding, rock chip and soil sampling plus various ground geophysical techniques with drilling within MLN's 0801 and 0803 only and costeaning in MLN0803 alone. Drilling in MLN0801 suggested that the Hong Kong mineralisation is restricted to several parallel zones of quartz limonite veining, trending 000 degrees to 005 degrees and dipping 55 degrees to 65 degrees east with a strike of 250m open to the north and south. The best intercept at 11m at 3.3g-t Au was obtained from the hanging wall zone. Within MLN0803, drilling obtained several gold intercepts from saddle reefs and bedding parallel quartz-limonite veining in the hinge of the Spring Hill Anticline. 3 trenches were constructed within the licence to test the geometry and gold content of the saddle reefs. The best assay obtained 16m at 3.0g-t Au
