| Abstract: | Work undertaken included geological mapping, the collection of 60 rock chip samples and the excavation of 8 costeans totalling 172m. No structures propsective for gold have been identified in Gandy's Hill East. Rock chip sampling at Gandy's Hill North identified only one significantly anomalous vein. Costeaning of this area indicated that gold mineralisation is present only within the quartz veins. The main quartz vein is mineralised over a strike length of 75m but only over narrow width (<1Km) and patchy grades (0.33-4.94g-t Au). |
