Abstract: | The regional stream BLEG program located drainages with anomalous gold values draining from the southern portion of the licence. This was followed up by 10 stream sediment samples. The gold values varied from <.005 to .03ppm. The anomalous area was gridded and 87-40 mesh soil samples were taken. Highly anomalous Au, As and Pb values were obtained. The coincident Au-Pb soil anomaly defined a N-S trending zone 1400 x 100 x 200m coinciding with quartz veined ferruginous quartzite. The As anomaly is spatially separated from the Au-Pb trend and is associated with lateritic duricrust. |
