Abstract: A suite of eight drill core samples were examined petrographically. Lithology is dominated by altered amphibolite facies regional metamorphics with indication of igneous and sedimentary origins. Alteration is generally hydrothermal in origin. Rocks exhibit minor mineralisation. Drilling occurred along 3 lines. Line 18600E indicated that the Kombolgie Sandstone thickened to the north to a maximum thickness of 170m in hole MRD26. Minor uranium anomalism occurs in the breccias and fractures at the base of this unit. Minor copper mineralisation was encountered in holes MRD28 and MRD34.
