| Abstract: | 4 diamond drill holes were drilled to the planned bottom of the open pit. Mineralisation was found to continue with depth, with value similar to what is being mined. The ore zones were much narrower. Mining has reached an average depth of 35m. 1 025 600 t ore mine 04-1989 to 03-1990 and 57415oz, gold were shipped. Changes to mining practice included an increase in blast hole density to 4.0m x 3.0m for increased rock fragmentation. Ore benches are fired at 5m heights using 60 angled blast holes. Rehabilitation has proved disappointing due to poor germination roots. Tube stock results are better. |
