Abstract: | Interpretation of the 1984 Austrex airborne geophysical data identified dominant NW trending structural breaks with apparent drag folding of magnetic beds. Soil samples were taken and assayed. The BCL results appear to be uniformly high, however this is believed to be a laboratory problem. GTA analysis revealed no anomalous Au. Two stream sediment samples were collected and analysed for Cu and Bi. The results were not anomalous. Due to extensive soil cover in the tenement, bedrock drilling should be carried out to investigate the underlying lithology for mineralisation. |
