| Abstract: | Exploration Licence 2155, located on the Cox Peninsula south-west of Darwin, was explored for cassiterite and tantalite mineralization in alluvium. Exploration work involved trenching and drainage alluvial sampling of the Annie River Alluvial Prospect. The results were generally disappointing because of the water flow in the centre of the Annie river wash. This flow prevented sampling of the most prospective section of the drainage. |
