Abstract: | A single drillhole, DD82DC1 - comprising 84m percussion precollar and diamond drilling to 104.8m, was put down to test the source of a magnetic response 5km west of Home of Bullion Mine. The steeply dipping magnetic target lay beneath 79m of flat lying Adelaidean sandstone. (Central Mount Stuart Beds). Magnetic response was due to magnetite-bearing gabbroic intrusive of uniform medium to coarse crystalline texture. No anomalous geochemistry was reported. |
