Abstract

The uranium potential of ELs 1709 Koolpinyah and 2008 Benhams Lagoon has been assessed over several years. Geophysical interpretation and limited drilling indicate that the target sedimentary rocks are >400 m deep over most of this area. The possible exception is the northeast corner of EL 1709. Other potential uranium models for the area are discussed, but are considered too speculative. The depth to the target in these ELs is considered uneconomic and no further work is recommended.
