Abstract: | During the exploration program rotary and diamond drilling program was undertaken. All drillholes were lithologically logged but only 12 were gamma logged. In addition, an IP survey was conducted over 26 square km which led to the identification of three anomalies. Geological and drilling information suggest that area contains stratabound lead-zinc mineralisation, generally confined to the fault zones. Selected drillhole samples were analysed for lead, zinc and silver. In drillhole NBK 100, anomalous Lead (27%), Zinc (4.69%) and Ag (2.3 0z/t) were found. Preliminary results of palynological studies are encouraging and further studies are planned. |
