Abstract: | Regional track etch anomalies were identified for drilling targets. Drilling did not intersect mineralisation. Due to inclement weather, drilling was abandoned altogether on the Anomaly 7 block. Three vertical holes were drilled at Anomalies 8 and 9, two being combination percussion diamond holes and one being percussion. All were drilled on radon highs. Total depths of around 50 m. were achieved in all 3 holes. The lithologies intersected in all 3 holes was reddish shales and clays with minor sandstone interbeds, part of the Mt. Eclipse Sandstone. All holes were geophysically logged and no anomalous radioactivity was found. Drill hole data is given in Appendices 1 and 2 of the company report. |
