Abstract: | A helicopter-borne scintillometer survey revealed that the radiometric anomaly registered is due to high radiometric background in the volcanic rocks of the Carrara Range Formation. Geochemical drainage samples were collected and the assay results show higher background values for base metals in the volcanic areas than in the arenaceous areas. No significant radiometric or base metal anomalies were detected in the area and no further work is recommended. |
