| Abstract: | AP 2596 was only granted for two years. Work has concluded with final field work in mid 1970. The title was held to follow up on the phosphate potential as previously explored by Continental Oil Company. Work by CRA also targeted base metals, fluorite, uranium, gold and bauxite. Bauxite potential was tested by hand augering. 255 drainage and soil samples were collected and assayed for the other target commodities. Two soil samples near Reedy Hole had elevated F, but that was not considered sufficiently encouraging. All values are below the level of interest and no further work is warranted. |
