| Abstract: | In Year 1, 10 BLEG, 61-40# stream sediment and 8 rock chip samples were collected. Results for gold, copper and lead were considered to be background. Elevated Zn (maximum 898ppm), Mn (maximum 3.7%) and As (339ppm) values were obtained from units of the South Alligator Group. Such values are not considered unusual from this group. No ground work was completed in Yr 2 or 3. In Year 2 a thorough review of all available data was completed. The area is considered to be suitable structurally and stratigrahpically to host gold-base metal mineralization however the disappointing results from geochemistry have down graded the area. |
