Annual report on EL 7199 and EL 7200 Calvert Hill Area to 2 June 1993

Abstract

An airborne EM (QUESTEM) survey was flown in the first year of tenure. Four anomalies were generated and followed-up by ground TEM profiling. No bedrock conductors were recognised. Data requires inverting and further interpretation. The tenements have been previously explored and effectively covered by stream sediment sampling. Anomalous areas, in and around EL 7125 BULL CREEK (BlIP. Minerals), were sampled and anomalies were confirmed. Analytical results up to 470 ppm Pb, 387 ppm Zn and 5.26% Mn were recorded in stream sediment results. One rock chip sample yielded results of 121 ppm Zn, 2.4 ppm Ag and 26.3% Mn. Government regulations require the tenements to be reduced by at least half. EL 7199 was reduced by 80% and EL 7200 by 88%.
