Abstract: | Regional geochemical surveys with the licence located on extension of MIM's Goodilla siding anomaly into the extreme SE of the licence. The maximum assay was 240ppb Au. These surveys also relocated an anomaly previously located by WMC in the central area of the licence. In the centre of the WMC licence is a strongly gossanous and quartz veined red mudstone. Rock chip sampling has returned 320m at 0.3g-t Au, with a further 200m at 0.3g-t Au along strike to the south. A spur from the ridge also returned anomalous values to 0.35g-t Au. 9 stream sediment anomalies were also defined ranging from 2.28 to 9ppb Au. Several are near to the WMC anomaly. 9 BLEG soil anomalies were also defined ranging to 12.4ppb. The significance of the anomalies is yet to be determined. |
