Abstract: | 80, -40 mesh stream sediment samples were collected outlining 4 areas of anomalous Pb (maximum 98ppm) and Zn (155ppm maximum). The most significant of which is the Glen Luckie anomaly (2Km x 1Km) in the NE of the licence. The remaining anomalies (Predictor Hill, Heaton Hill and Tortilla Flats) are less well defined and smaller occurring in the central and southern areas of the licence. 40 rock chip samples were collected during the stream sediment programme. Elevated Cu (312ppm maximum), Pb (531ppm maximum) and weakly anomalous Zn (168ppm maximum) were obtained from the Tortilla Flats, Heaton Hill and Predictor Hill anomalies. At Glen Luckie 4 anomalous Zn (2050ppm maximum), As (540ppm maximum), Cu (280ppm maximum) and Pb (100ppm maximum) were obtained. All gold values were low. |
