| Abstract: | The tin tantalum potential of the licence has not been adequately tested. Mineralised pegmatites are believed to occur beneath the laterite cover. In 1990-1 work was directed towards the exploration for alluvial gold. All rock chip samples were negative. Soil sample values varied from 0.15 to 87ppb Au. The significance of these values has not been determined. Some surficial concentration of heavy minerals in colluvium is believed to have contributed to the results. |
