| Abstract: | Reconnaissance mapping and rock chip geochemistry in the SE of the licence located a narrow unit of banded quartz-haematite rock which is anomalous in Cu, Pb, Zn, Ag, W, Sn and As. Follow up showed that there were a series of 4 NW striking polymetallic lodes approximately 500m apart. The largest body has a length of 2.5km, the others average 1km in length-the maximum width is 2m. Two tin workings were located in the NE of the tenement Investigation of 2 aeromagnetic anomalies failed to outline any associated mineralisation. They appear to be related to contact metamorphism of the Burrell Creek Formation. |
