Title: Annual/Final Report for EL 5300 for the year ending 19 November 1989.
Title Holder / Company: PNC Exploration Australia
Report id: CR1990-0021
Tenure: EL5300
Year: 1990
Author: Dunn, M
Abstract: 6 drill holes were based on anomalies delineated by the Sirotem-Gravity surveys. 4 drill holes intersected basement rock ranging from dolomite to dolomitic siltstone and dolomitic metapelites without intersecting any units which would account for the conductive anomalies. No graphite or sulphides were found. It was then determined that the coincident low density-conductive anomalies are most probably due to palaeochannels incised in the dolomitic basement lithologies. No prospective lithologies were encountered. Consequently the area was relinquished.
