Abstract: | Rock chip sampling indicated that much of the quartz is barren. The anomalous value (to 8.56g-t) came from the main quartz blow and along strike from the blow. Preliminary soil sampling indicates that much of the area is barren of gold. Copper values range from 17-160ppm- the higher values are possibly associated with dispersion form the quartz blow. Arsenic values range from 15-337ppm reflecting high background values the highest values are from the south most sample line. Copper and arsenic values show no obvious correlation to the gold values. More rock chip and soil sampling is recommended to determine the distribution of mineralisation. |
