Group Annual Report for GR501 Fenton Project for the period 22nd June 2018 to 31st October 2019 (EL 31350) and 20th July 2018 to 31st October 2019 (EL 31407)

Abstract

This report documents exploration work conducted by Newmont Goldcorp Exploration Pty Ltd (Newmont) on Amalgamated Group Report (GR) 501 at the Fenton project (the Project). GR501 is comprised of Exploration Licences (EL) 31407 and 31350. The current reporting periods for EL 31350 and EL 31407 are 22nd June 2018 to 31st October 2019 and 20th July 2018 to 31st October 2019 respectively. The Project is located in the western section of the Central Domain of the Pine Creek Orogen (PCO), which is a major gold and uranium province in the Northern Territory, containing a known gold endowment of approximately 11Moz Au. Work completed during the reporting period included a surface geochemical survey utilising Newmont's proprietary Deep Sensing Geochemistry (DSG) technique and a diamond drilling program. A DSG survey was completed at 50m x 500m spacing, across an area where historical drilling had returned anomalous gold results. The diamond drilling program targeted known historical anomalous gold on the southern Project area. The diamond drilling program consisted of three diamond drillholes (KAD0001-KAD0003) for a total of 2,025.3m. No significant results were returned, reporting a maximum intercept of 1m at 0.4g/t Au (KAD0001). The DSG and diamond drilling results and any potential further works will be evaluated during 2019-2020.
