Annual and Final Surrender Report for Exploration Licence 33493, 15 September 2024 to 9 September 2025

Abstract

This report summarises the relinquishment of EL 33493. This tenement makes up part of the IGO Newsearch Pty Ltd (IGO) Irindina Project under the Combined Annual Reporting Group 580 (GR 580 Irindina Project). The tenement was granted on the 15th of September 2023. EL 33493 is located within the Irindina Province, southwest of Harts Range in the Northern Territory. The tenement is located approximately 150 km east-northeast of Alice Springs and can be accessed from the Plenty or Ross Highways followed by unsealed station tracks. The Irindina project primarily targets orthomagmatic nickel-copper-cobalt sulfide mineralisation within ultramafic and mafic bodies that intrude metasedimentary rocks of the Irindina Province. Several Paleoproterozoic to Paleozoic mafic and ultramafic intrusions are also reported in host rocks of the Aileron Province. No exploration work was completed on the tenement since grant (15th of September 2023 to the 9th of September 2025). IGO have relinquished the tenement as it is not deemed prospective for Ni-Cu sulphide deposits and there is limited to no prospectivity for Li bearing pegmatites.
