Kulgera HMS Project EL 32858 & EL 32859 Final Report for Period 08 April 2022 to 10 October 2024

Abstract

Havelock Mining Pty Ltd regrets to inform the Northern Territory Mining Department of the cessation of exploration activities for the Kulgera HMS Project (Tenement IDs: EL 32858 & EL 32859). Despite significant efforts to advance the project, the decision was made due to a combination of economic feasibility concerns, technical challenges in processing heavy mineral sands, market volatility, and logistical difficulties. The project's remote location, situated far from the nearest railhead and port, resulted in unsustainable transportation costs. This report outlines the work completed, reasons for cessation, and the steps taken to ensure compliance and site closure.
