Annual Group Report for ML 29781, ML 29782, ML 29783, ML 29785, ML 29786, ML 29812, ML 29814, MLN 1058 and MLN 1083, Mount Bundy, Rustlers Roost and Quest 29 Projects 1 December 2016 to 30 November 2017

Abstract

Exploration and project development activities carried out during the current reporting period can be described as follows: Drilling of four diamond drill holes for 730m and 717 samples; Update of the Rustlers Roost Mineral Resource; Metallurgical test work on the Rustlers Roost and Quest 29 deposits - ongoing; The collection of information and data in preparation for the submission of a supplement to the EIS with respect to the recommencement of underground mining at Tom's Gully. This work continued in 2017 and focused around the collection of additional environmental data and interpretation of this data for the supplement; LiDAR topographic survey covering the Tom's Gully, Rustlers Roost and Quest 29 mining areas; Sampling of the Tom's Gully tailings and waste rock dumps for baseline acid mine drainage conditions. This information will be reported in the EIS; The tailings material and waste rock dumps were also assessed for gold potential, with the excavation of 15 pits for a total of 21 samples; The two waste rock dumps were reverse circulation drilled for a total of 45 holes for 966m with 197 samples collected; Ongoing care and maintenance operations at historic sites; Incorporation of the May-June 2017 drilling data into the database; A prospecting program was undertaken by company geologists. The main objective of this work was to assess brown-field exploration opportunities, which included investigation of the quartz veins exposed along the slopes of the Rustlers Roost and Quest 29 pits. No samples were collected. Primary's exploration activities for the year 2017 were focused on advancement of the known resources and the commencement of the mining project studies. This work included the collection of samples for metallurgical tests and led to the updating of resources at the Rustlers Roost deposit.
