| Title: | Petrographic analyse report, Baines project |
| Report id: | CSR0589 |
| Year: | 2024 |
| Corporate Author: | Encounter Resources |
| Drillhole/Well Name: | WLMB001B |
| Abstract: | One (1) drill core sample was submitted for petrographic section preparation, description and interpretation. This sample is labelled BA-01, from the Baines project in the northwestern part of the Northern Territory. The sample constituted a small piece of drill core, <5 cm long, and most appeared to be fresh, with little indication of supergene alteration. The purpose of the petrographic work was to identify the primary rock types and imposed processes that included (depending on the sample) diagenetic to very low-grade metamorphic alteration, higher grade metamorphism, and nature of sulphide mineralisation. |
