Title: Annual and Final Surrender Report for Exploration Licence 33681 Raptor East (7th of June 2024 to 4th of June 2025)
Title Holder / Company: IGO
Report id: CR2025-0292
Tenure: EL33681
Year: 2025
Author: McGloin, M
Abstract: This report summarises the final surrender of tenement EL 33681. The tenement was granted on the 7th of June 2024 and amalgamated into GR528 on the 7th of August 2024. Tenement EL 33681 comprises part of the IGO Limited (IGO) Raptor Project across the Willowra Gravity Ridge. The tenement is located approximately 300 km north-northwest of Alice Springs on the Stirling Station Pastoral Lease. The Raptor project targets magmatic nickel-copper-cobalt sulfide mineralisation within ultramafic and mafic bodies that intrude metasedimentary rocks of the Lander Rock Formation. A secondary target is hard rock lithium mineralisation associated with pegmatites. No airborne or ground exploration activities were completed by IGO on EL 33681 since grant. No heritage surveys were completed by the Central Land Council. IGO have relinquished ground because the small tenure area (~11km2) will make it impractical to complete cost-effective airborne exploration surveys without including survey areas in neighbouring tenements under application.
