This report documents the results of the project 'From Fold to Gold: Reinterpretation, 3D Visualisation and Mineral Systems Analysis of Pine Creek, Northern Territory'. The project involved the reinterpretation of surface geology and the generation of a 3D geological model of a 3900 km2 area in the Pine Creek Orogen (Central Domain).-
The objectives of the project were to:-
dc.description.abstract1. Review and update the 3D geological (structural and stratigraphic) framework of the Area of Interest(AoI), using freely available geological and geophysical data, and incorporating unpublished industrydata where possible.-
dc.description.abstract2. Deliver high-quality map and 3D products that visualize the geological framework in formats that canbe easily consumed by the minerals exploration industry and members of the public.-
dc.description.abstract3. Summarise issues in existing datasets and interpretations, especially with stratigraphy.-
dc.description.abstract4. Provide insights into the surveys/data required to better constrain regional geology and stimulateexploration.-
dc.description.abstract5. Preliminary insights for mineral systems model's discussion.-
