Tanami Mine Project Annual Report for the period 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018 GR026, MLS 119-MLS 133, MLS 153, MLS 167, MLS 168 and MLS 180

Abstract

This report describes exploration activities primarily for gold undertaken by Northern Star (Tanami) Pty Ltd over licences MLS 119-133, MLS 153, MLS 167-168 and MLS 180 as part of the Tanami Mine Project GR026/02 between the 1st January 2018 and 31st December 2018. The centre of the Project area is located approximately 660km northwest of Alice Springs along the Tanami Road which cuts through the centre of the project. The project contains the Central Tanami Project gold processing plant which is currently under care and maintenance since closure of the mine in 2005. Following farm-in to the Central Tanami Project with majority registered holder, Tanami Gold (NT) Pty Ltd, Northern Star (Tanami) Pty Ltd initiated an intensive programme of data validation and compilation of Tanami Gold (NT) Pty Ltd's original database into a new corporate acQuire database system together with historic GIS geochemical and geophysical datasets. Northern Star (Tanami) Pty Ltd has also completed surface sampling, aeromagnetic, radiometric and gravity surveys, and a depth of cover survey. Resource modelling along the Central Tanami mine corridor is ongoing. Work undertaken during the reporting period includes; RC drilling, Diamond drilling, Interim internal resource estimation, Lithogeochemical analysis, Metallurgical leachwell tests, Drill site rehabilitation
