L 30469 was applied for with the primary intention of exploring for alluvial and hard-rock gold. It was considered possible that an alluvial tin resource may also be found. Past experience has shown that the location of workable alluvial resources can often lead to the discovery of hard rock resources. It has also been found that removal of economic alluvial material provides a clearer vision for future exploration of potential hard-rock resources in addition to providing an earlier cash flow for the operation.-
