EL 24808 Annual Technical Report for the period 10 August 2017 to 9 August 2018

Abstract

EL 24808 is held by Eclipse Metals Limited and covers a residual 27 sub-blocks within the northern Ngalia Basin, after a compulsory third year partial surrender in 2009. The project is considered prospective for sandstone-hosted uranium deposits, being proximal to and containing the same stratigraphic horizon as the Bigryli uranium deposit. The Eclipse project area had an airborne Radiometric/Magnetic survey at 100m line spacing completed in 2008; and a Tempest Airborne Electromagnetic programme at 1,000m line spacing completed in 2011. In 2017 a detailed gravity (over 1100 stations) and passive seismic survey was planned but not completed, due to the company seeking confirmation of completed Sacred Site Clearance Certification from the Central Land Council. Certification was finally received post-reporting date. The company has sought a variation of covenant for expenditure for the year. The planned work programme for the coming year consists of data review from the delayed gravity and passive seismic survey, and the generation of a drill programme to be undertaken in the 2019 calendar year, consisting of approximately 30 aircore style holes to test the lithologies and primarily geochemical responses in the areas of interest. Work will include assays, downhole sensing, and spectral studies.
