Combined Annual Report for the Gecko Group, ML's 23969, 31021 and 31023 and MLC's 21, 323-327, 506, 69, 70, 78 and 85-90 GR416, 1 May 2017 to 30 April 2018

Abstract

The titles of the Gecko Group were acquired by Santexco to search for Tennant Creek style iron oxide copper-gold deposits (IOCG). Santexco is a wholly owned subsidiary of Emmerson. This combined report records the exploration work completed on these titles during the period from 1 May 2017 to the 30 April 2018. Exploration activity during the reporting period consisted of RC drilling at the Gecko - Goanna areas, 8 RC holes were drilled for 1,903m. The RC program was aimed at assessing the probability for continuous shear-hosted, high-grade copper mineralization between Goanna and Gecko, more specifically along the poorly tested southern margin of the Gecko Corridor. Assay results from the drilling were mixed, all profiles indicated that the mineralised structure (far south shear zone - FSSZ) was continuous, but in terms of economic/significant mineralisation it was limited to GRC1413 and 1416, as detailed in table 2 below. The drilling provides encouragement for mineralisation along the entire structure but a large detailed drilling program will be required to outline the extent of the mineralisation and its potential economics and will be subject to future drilling campaigns.
