The relinquished portion of Exploration License (EL) 32999 lies entirely within the pastoral land of Mt Doreen Station, approximately 400 km northwest of Alice Springs. The area is part of the eastern Wabudali Range, featuring metasediments of the Lander Rock Formation, Reynolds Range Group, Pine Hill Formation, and Mt Thomas Quartzite, intruded by the Wabudali Granite (1730-1720 Ma). The granite is believed to be the source of Cu-W mineralisation at Wilson's Find, located 15 km west of the relinquished area. The terrain is characterised by Quaternary sands, clays, and floodplain deposits overlying Tertiary sediments, with prominent east-west ridges formed by the Wabudali Range. This complex geological setting, within the Aileron Province of the Arunta Region, provides favourable conditions for diverse deposit styles, including sediment-hosted uranium, REEs, and polymetallic granite and metamorphicrelated systems. During its tenure, URO Corporation focused on desktop studies, including literature reviews and a helicopter reconnaissance trip to evaluate the area's prospectivity. However, no field sampling was conducted as the relinquished area is designated as Northern Territory Aboriginal Sacred Sites by the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority (AAPA). These include Restricted Work Areas, Recorded Sacred Sites, and Extents of Recorded Sites, making further exploration impractical. While the relinquished area has been released due to access restrictions, URO Corporation considers the broader tenement highly prospective, particularly for base and precious metals, REEs, and uranium. Future exploration efforts will focus on accessible areas, leveraging insights gained from regional geology and prior exploration activities.-
