Caranbirini Project Final Report for the Period 3 August 2020 to 2 August 2024 EL 32347

Abstract

This document is submitted as a final surrender group report for EL 32347 which is also called the Caranbirini Project. The Caranbirini Project Area is situated within the prospective Batten Fault Zone of the McArthur Basin, with the primary exploration target being sediment hosted massive zinc-lead-silver deposits of the McArthur Group. EL 32347 covers an area of 165 km2 on the northern end of the Teck operated Reward project. Teck Australia Pty Ltd acquired the Caranbirini licence EL 32347 on the 3rd of August 2020 and has been the sole operator and tenure holder since then. During the reporting period the following work was undertaken: data review, target development, and field reconnaissance. Work completed during the licence terms included: Compiling all the historic data and integrating it into company internal data formats and database storage A reconnaissance visit (2020/21); Reconnaissance field visit and a drill core viewing trip (2021); Development of potential drill targets and field reconnaissance (2022/23). Based on the evaluation of the various datasets and field reconnaissance, the decision was made to surrender the licence in full as the explorability, including difficulty to access and probability of success, were deemed low.
