Minimal work was carried out on site during this period. The Calcrete deposit is of a very large size, possibly in the range of 2 billion tonnes. This is based on the NTGS mapped area of Calcrete and Water bore logs near each end of the deposit showing Calcrete depths of 5 and 7 metres thickness. This Calcrete deposit is both strategically and cost effectively placed. The Calcrete will be used to build and maintain 60 plus kms. of haul road from the Stuart Highway to the Darwin Rail line. Negotiations have been ongoing for some time to sell the EL to TNG Ltd. The sale has now occurred.-
