dc.description.abstract | During the GR461 third reporting year low-level helimagnetic and radiometric data was acquired over two thirds of EL 31383 and the southern third of EL 25566. The above geophysical survey called Claude Hills North (CHN) was co-funded by NTGS under provisions of Round 11 of the Geopysics and Drilling Collaborations Program superseding pre-existing 500m line spaced AMAG/Radiometric data flown during the 1985 NTGS Petermann Geophysical survey. The geophysical survey undertaken during March 2019 acquired helimagnetic and radiometric data on traverses 200m apart at a height of 60m, for a total of 4700 line km covering an area of 750 sq km. Subsequent image processing, modelling, interpretation of acquired located digital data by Consult Geophysicist delineated 6 areas of elevated magnetics two of which namely Area 4 and Area 1 (possibly Area 6) were deemed worthy of further investigation. Surveyer Generals Corner Prospect (Area 4 Anomaly) comprises and coincident 750 nanotesla magnetic anomaly over a 5mGal ground gravity anomaly possibly indicative of subsurface Cu-Ni-Co mineralised Giles Complex hosted Ultramafic intrusion? A Ground EM survey will be conducted over the above coincident anomaly area for possible subsurface massive sulphide mineralised conductors during the forthcoming license year. At Mag Anomaly #1 a 1700 nanotesla discrete, circular magnetic anomaly is defined also possibly indicative of a Cu-Ni-Co mineralised intrusive? It will also be further refined during forthcoming license year by a 100m line spaced GMAG survey. | - |
