Abstract

This title (as part of a number of titles held by Mentana Minerals) was worked in the mid 1980's by Mentana Minerals. An alluvial operation was running for approximately 4 years during which time it is estimated 800,000 to 1,000,000 metres of alluvial dirt was mined from the pre-existing workings (1880's) using heavy minerals separation plant. During this period of mining no hazardous chemicals were in use and as a result there is no toxic waste present. No work has been undertaken since the above period.
