Abstract: The titles of the TC8 Group were acquired by TC8 Pty Ltd (TC8) and Santexco Pty Ltd (Santexco) to search for Tennant Creek style iron oxide copper-gold deposits (IOCG). TC8 and Santexco are wholly owned subsidiaries of Emmerson Resources Ltd (Emmerson). Exploration activity was limited due to exploration focus elsewhere but those that were conducted consisted of field visits to geologically assess a number of Kenex generated targets within the TC8 Group area. The targets generated in the TC8 Group area exhibited geological prospective rocks and structures with their overall rankings of Pprb's between 0.3029807317 and 0.9999920773 showed some very prospective targets, but unfortunately the highest ranked target and the only target that would have been prioritised for exploration is excluded due to a registered sacred site by both the CLC and AAPA. Emmerson has a strong relationship with the traditional owners and their representatives the CLC and have engaged them with dialogue to get potential access for future exploration, this process remains ongoing and is anticipated will take some time, potentially years. Emmerson is currently trialing the application of a new technology 'Archimedes' which is the application of a proprietary algorithm to geophysical data, this is done by the Archimedes group. The aim is to define the existence of ironstones at depth, whether magnetite or hematite and a more accurate representation of the position of such an ironstone in 3D space. Emmerson is trialing this at two separate areas, one in the Eastern Project Area (The Susan Block) and one in the Northern Project Area (Gecko Block). The success of this technology may have large implications for targeting techniques in the entire Tennant Creek Mineral Field, but more specifically the TC8 Group.
