Group Annual Report for EL 5889, EL 28326 and EL 31332 GR163 Birrindudu Project from 16 November 2015 to 15 November 2016

Abstract

The Birrindudu project comprises Exploration Licences 5889, 28326 and 31332. It is situated approximately 250 km east-southeast of Halls Creek, in the north-western portion of the Tanami Desert (Figure 1). In December 2009, ABM Resources NL (ABM) acquired EL 5888, 5889 and 8809, which formed the original seeding tenements of the project, from Tanami Exploration NL (TENL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tanami Gold NL (TGNL). The tenements were registered in the name of ABM on the 7th April 2010. In the following years six tenements in the project region were granted to ABM. These tenements were successively added to the GR163 group reporting. During 2016 16 blocks were relinquished from EL 27705. Three tenements, EL's 28560, 29181 and 29182 were surrendered outright and two tenements, EL 28566 and EL 27705 expired on grant of replacement EL 31332 with a grant date 14 July 2016. ABM is exploring the tenements for the potential of gold mineralisation. No on ground exploration was conducted during the reporting period; as ABM focused on the completion of mining at the Old Pirate Gold Project and exploration of the Hyperion gold prospect at Suplejack.
