Abstract

EL 25845, 26590, 26591, 26592, 26593, 26613, 26615, 26618, 26620, 26621, 26622, 26673 and 27604 form ABM Resources NL (ABM), 'Euro' project which is located approximately 550 kilometres northwest of Alice in the Tanami Region. ABM explores the 'Euro' project for the potential of gold mineralisation. Exploration included a reconnaissance field trip and desktop studies and a review of the regional basement geology. The 3 days reconnaissance field trip was designed to assess the road conditions and access to ABM's prospects in the region while conducting initial geological assessment and sampling where appropriate. It was found that access to all prospects was very poor, most tracks were completely overgrown and impassable in parts. Access was not gained to any of ABM's targets. It was concluded that work within the Euro tenement group will need a greater presence, more time and considerable track clearing before significant work can begin on the exploration target areas. The desktop studies considered the Shedu (EL 26622), Sputnik (EL 26613) and Anomaly 16 North (EL 26613) as the highest ranking prospects of the project in comparison to the neighbouring Callie mine site. A regional basement geology incorporating NTGS and ABM interpretation 1:500,000 merged map was completed.
