dc.description.abstractMLN 585 covers the historic Eva uranium mine in the Westmoreland region in the Northern Territory west of the Northern Territory - Queensland border and is one of numerous abandoned mines in the area. The MLN is approximately 252 m by 467 m and covers 12.14 ha. It contains an area of disturbance 102 m by 316 m, covering 0.02792 km2, created by historical activities and NuPower's drilling in 2009. Separate total (JORC Inferred and Indicated) resources are 535,800 tonnes at 0.12% U3O8 for 1.43Mlbs of U3O8 and 101,600 tonnes at 3.77g/tAu for 12,300ozAu with a cutoff of 0.02% U3O8. Environmental monitoring of the site has continued since 2009 and an environmental stream sediment survey was completed during the reporting year. The results and interpretation were reported in detail under the Mining Management Act and only discussed briefly in this report. Some potentially radioactive samples from the 2009 NuPower drilling remain in secure off-site storage at ALS in Queensland. Two NuPower shipping containers remain on-site. Resource and exploration database QA/QC has been on-going and a complete database dump accompanies this report.
