Abstract: The relinquished area of EL 26825 formed part of Prodigy Gold NL (Prodigy) [formerly ABM Resources NL (ABM)] Barrow Creek project, which currently comprises Exploration Licenses 8766, 23880, 23883, 23884, 23885, 23886, 25031, 25033, 25034, 25035, 25041, 25042 25044, 26825, 28515, 29723, 29724, 29725, 29896, 30470, 30507 and 30637. The Barrow Creek project is centered approximately 320km NNW of Alice Springs in the North Arunta region and stretches for 236km west to northwest of the town of Barrow Creek. These tenements form the GR162 technical reporting group. The tenement area was selected as it was included in Newmont's Tanami Regional Framework study which highlighted the prospectivity of the area. Prodigy explored the tenement for the potential of gold mineralisation. In the period 27 January 2009 to 31 January 2021 exploration comprised mapping, surface sampling, drilling, an aeromagnetic survey as well as project wide reprocessing of aeromagnetic data plus a compilation of a project wide basement geology map A total of 44 rock chips and a total of 550 soil samples were collected. A total of 28 AC holes for 1,551m as well as 10 RC holes for 540m were drilled. In 2012 an aero-magnetic survey with a 200m line spacing covered parts of the relinquished area. In 2014 potential JV partner Clancy Exploration Ltd (ASX: CLY) ('Clancy') reprocessed aero-magnetic data of the Barrow Creek project area and Dr L. C. Vandenberg included the use of the reprocessed data in his 1:100,000 compilation of a project basement geology map. In 2020 geological outcrop mapping included 148 geological measurements. The January 2021 Barrow Creek project data review concluded in a second voluntary partial relinquishment of 29 blocks of EL 26825, effective from 26 January 2021. The relinquished area of EL 26825 was surrendered especially due to the 2020 exploration results, which did not indicate the area as a mineralised section of the neighbouring main mineralised north- west striking Kroda prospect trend.
